How My Journey Started

My story begins in a small town in India, where I grew up watching my father, a Physical Education teacher at a humble government school, dedicate his life to serving his students. With limited resources but boundless compassion, he not only taught physical fitness but nurtured hope, resilience, and kindness in every child who crossed his path. He became the quiet hero who showed me that education was not just a profession—it was a mission to change lives.

Inspired by his legacy of service, I pursued a career in teaching with a vision to empower students, uplift communities, and transform education. My journey was not without challenges, but each obstacle became a stepping stone to a greater purpose. I realized early on that education is far more than textbooks and exams; it’s about sparking curiosity, fostering critical thinking, and helping students believe in their ability to shape the world.

From teaching biology in classrooms to mentoring students in sustainability projects, I have always aimed to bridge gaps—not just in knowledge but in opportunities. This vision inspired me to establish Care Connect International, an NGO dedicated to providing access to quality education and empowering marginalized communities worldwide.

Every student I meet, every teacher I collaborate with, and every story I encounter continues to fuel my passion. My journey started with the values my father instilled in me, and it continues with the belief that every child, regardless of background, deserves a chance to dream, to learn, and to thrive.

Today, as an educator, researcher, and the founder of Care Connect International, I stand proud of where I come from and hopeful for where we are headed. My father’s legacy lives on—not just in me, but in every life I touch, every lesson I teach, and every barrier I help break.

This is where I began, and this is why I continue.
